On May 13th, The Naturals plus white-tux-clad host Joel Flynn took its Rockaoke antics to the open water with Miss World Canada’s Dinner Gala Cruise. How can we put this mildly?
Let’s just say…Miss World Canada knows how to rock! These ladies and gentlemen sang, danced and partied in true Rockaoke fashion.
To open the night, Sidney Shindle set the tone with an unforgettable rendition of “If I Ain’t Got You” by Alicia Keys.
The demand was high: there was more sign-ups than there was time to play! The band rocked an entire 60-minute set before stepping aside for the dance presentations which highlighted the beauty and diversity of this great country.
The highlight of the night was undoubtedly the finale. A little “Uptown Funk” by Mark Ronson packed the dance floor with groovin’ bodies and reminded everyone that it’s all about SATURDAY NIGHT (and we in the spot!) for the Miss World Canada Competition at Queen Elizabeth Theatre on May 16th.
Thank you to all the singers, dancers and music enthusiasts for providing the energy and passion to elevate this party to legendary status.
An extra special thanks to Jonathan Dunn of FantaSea Entertainment for putting this event together. \m/
